Everything was perfectly fine with a nice size and huge rooms. Satisfactory breakfast selection with watery juice. Location close enough to all the nice restaurants. Honestly no complaints whatsoever.

The rooms here are spacious with a practical bathroom, plus it's located centrally, and there's a nice cafe just a short walk away.

Friendly staff, good breakfast and excellent location near Knutpunkten.
Slow and inadequate room service. Expensive for a longer stay. Should be classified as 2.5 or 3 stars at the most, certainly not 4 stars.

I had a comfortable bed, a good breakfast buffet, an excellent location and helpful staff. But the best single thing about this hotel is its unique character. The hotel is in a traditional building and is furnished in a style one sees only in Sweden and Norway. You won't think you are in the UK or the US or anywhere else outside Scandinavia. Lovers of sameness and predicitability should go elsewhere. I've stayed in a great many different hotels and I liked this one a lot. It couldn't be in a handier location. It's directly across and 50m down a side street from the city's combined rail-ferry-bus terminal. You can see the hotel when you exit the terminal. And it's quiet at night despite the central location. Also, for once I had a room with good lighting, from seven different sources not counting the bathroom. I'd definitely return here.
I have to hunt a bit for complaints. All three chairs in the room are attractive but are getting a bit old and creaky and they need to be reglued before they dump a guest onto the floor, but I was told that the management is aware of this and has plans to address the problem..

Super beds, electronic key card, coffee/tea makers, and flat-screen TV with cable channels in the room. A wide range of breakfast options at the bar. Smooth check-in process. On-site parking available. Everything was perfectly fine.

Very charming building and room. I would definitely come back.
I arrived at 23:30 and the reception was closed. I had to call in order to get the reception open.

Very central, in side street in town centre, close to ferry, bus and railway stations. Hotel clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable room, with plenty of space and room for a sitting area and desk. Tea and cofffee making facilities in room. Good buffet breakfast with hot options.

The hotel staff was service minded, good continental breakfast, however we think that the cleaning and presentation of the rooms would need some control, it happens that even though we didn't change the towels everyday, they weren't put in order, to dry, not a big thing but important for the image of the hotel
